Well if it helps any most Americans are opposed to this so-called "war." Most of us are trying to figure out were this came from all of a sudden and how the focus was turned from Bin-Laden and terrorism to "terrorist" dictators and oil. I for one am not for war because it means that my family and friends will have to go! I have many friends and relatives that would be called up and if a draft were instituted my wife would have to go because of her profession. I think there are many sterotypes that many countries place on the U.S. and realize how little control we really have here. Remember the elections? The popular vote was for Gore and Bush won because of the electoral college...who are they? Like we know!
Anyway keep in mind that Americans arent always happy that we are the "peace keepers" of the world, as some would like to believe. It just means I may lose another friend or family member....
