Just one comment :
Unless you get 56K analog, 128K digital, broadband (DSL or Cable) , T1 or even T3. Your speed will be as slow as the slowest link that you pass and which infrastructure at the other side. For.Ex. If you ddl from a major company, let's say M$, you will get a nice speed, while if you're ddl from someones homeserver you're due at his upload-speed.
Even if you get your modem tweaked or cracked, there will always be the other side, and this is your ISP which controls and can set your ddl and upl. All those accelerator-progs are just a big scam !
