For starters, no handgun can be registered in D.C. Even those pistols registered prior to the District's 1976 ban cannot be carried from room to room in the home without a license.
I know most people have already made up their minds in the endless debate on guns,
but I thought it was noteworthy that some Wash, DC residents are challenging
the gun ban in DC. I thought the law was very popular, and DC residents
quite content.
