With that out of the way, we're launching a weekly AO-themed column to spotlight interesting security-related threads. Sorta returning the favor for AO hosting our headlines and product listings. It will reside on the EIT homepage until it's pushed down so there's no missing it.

Here's the very first one. Going forward, my hope is that we can spread the word on this great community. Having (cowardly) lurked the site before joining, I've seen how you guys and gals, of course, band together to help each other out; from complete newbies to seasoned pros.

We'll post excerpts and credit authors fully, so there's no worry that we're just cribbing your tips and tutorials verbatim.

I think AO has a lot to offer everyone and this is a way of helping you get the recognition you deserve as well as help the community grow. I'll be working with the mods and members to solicit ideas and feedback.
