I'm running my server using apache and Mysql 4. I'm hosting a few of my friends. My domain name is www.theouternet.net and it sends poeple to my IP. Perfect. but if one of my friends buys an domain name. what would he put for his DNS settings.he can't put my IP that would lead him to my site. his folder right now is http://www.theouternet.net/Usr/His_name. but i dont want it so that when he types in his domain name it says http://www.theouternet.net/Usr/His_name in the adrdess bar. i want it to say his domain name. what do i do.
