Topogilinux
I searched to see if this had been posted before but didn't get any matches.
For many people who don't want to actually install *nix on their machine, but wanted to use it, their only option was to use knoppix. However knoppix sometimes was slow, and for some people didn't work.
After reading the Linux Format magazine, I came across a different kind of *nix called Topogilinux. What Topogilinux does it creates a large file in your windows partition (at least 2.5GB) and installs the necessary files to there. Then, when you want to run Linux you just put the topogilinux cd in the cd rom, boot from it, and it boots straight into *nix. If you want to go back to windows, just take the CD out of the machine and reboot. Its as simple as that.
Heres the web address for it.

I haven't tried it yet myself, but I will once I get the chance.
