Hehehe... your takeing this rather personal did I mean you specificly? No... I don't share anyone's views and I don't share those about "selling out". But whats wrong here? Those who would rather make money, those who don't give a **** about being called something as lame and as pointless as "hacker", the kinda guys who have jobs/lives and could care less or not have the time to entertain peaple. Sell-outs?

But either way peaple are being feed piles of **** weather if you know it or want to admit it or not... no matter if its a product or service, to things like entertaining peaple who simply think its oh so hip to own a computer and give yourselves special names for useing them... and what happends after that? Once the average Joe wants to "look cool & smart also" by picking up on computers so they can be called something... guess what happends? Yeah thats right they want to grab & probably BUY MORE ****.

Im sure at some point John's fame has helped him sell products to fight off spam... as with alot of peaple who now have jobs I no longer see him in the news as much now. But then selling t-shirts, mugs, & hats at cons and meeting is "not" selling out?
