lol -- this "google thingy" was actually a mistake (i originally posted the wrong thread -- it was one i was still working on (i don't want to sound stupid)) but in short, the google toolbar which was once perfect in blocking popups, now does not block all of them and pop-ups seem to be getting around the blocking..
