ok i have a new motherboard with sata
i have one hdd on sata0 and 2 hdds on my ide0 and 2 burners on ide1
i want to install linux on my sata hdd but slackware 10 doesnt recognize sata...and i cant find a kernel to load at boot time that suports it either
is their a way i can drop a sata suporting kernel on 1 or 2 floppys that way i can install slackware 10 and then use that kernel as my resident kernel?
pm me if you are confused or need more info
thanks
