Hey...I didn't realize that it was set up the way hoggy says it is but upon further contemplation, I like it.

Let's say that member A has a problem with member C and would prefer not to have to deal with member C. By ignoring him/her, member A can start posts with no fear of disruption from member C. Member C, if member C is truely a good member, will get disgusted at his/her inability to post to member A's threads and attempt to resolve the inability to post issue, which in theory would involve a peace treaty with member A. Member A removes Member C from his/her ignore list and all is theoretically well.

JMHO
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.

That being quoted...I don't think people have the maturity to remove someone when an appropriate amount of time has passed. The idea is a good one, but it does prevent people from exercising their member given rights. I think it's up to the moderators to handle "incidents". Either way we'll know tomorrow. Those jupiter media guys keep bankers hours, so they can't fix this now mwahahaha
