I've noticed on AO that a lot of newcomers here have hit over 400 posts in less than a few months giving them the status of Antionline Senior Members. Now its not that I really care about status, but I find it stupid how someone can obtain a level of status that is suppose to say "hey here’s a person who knows something", but what they really did was post something lame or reply to a post with something stupid or something that didn't need to be said. If you wanted to show a senior member who has real status not someone who has too much free time on there hands, we need to change the way we rank people here. Look at me I've been here since 9-17-2001 and have only 350 +/- post. I believe the quality of the post needs to be judged in comparison to the rank of our members. People need to use there AO points more often and judge them on quality of the post, Attitude, Relevance, and Over all Helpfulness of the post and set a time limit on return AO points so that someone cant retaliate just because there where – points given. Now I’m not saying that everyone who has come here in the past few months and that made senior member hasn’t posted good post but there have been a few who have managed to slip threw the cracks. Its up to you, do you want a serious site that commits to helping people with security issues or is this site going to go down the tubes. I first came to this site in hopes to learn a few things about security and maybe add my 2 cents worth but the quality has dropped dramatically since then.
