Those of you on the nmap-hackers mailing list will have already seen this but for everyone else... the new version is available for download @ http://www.insecure.org/nmap/nmap_download.html.

Other mentions in the email regarding the release, were confirmation that nmap would not go the way of nessus (fees for plugin updates, signed contract/licenses)... and that the HaXXXor pron nmap training video would be removed... Apparently its downloads are pulling a few terrabytes some days. There's no date listed for their removal, so if you don't have them yet you may want to rush along and download them.
