One of the most powerful motivators (at least in my experience) for programming is the ever hungry ego… …and virus writers may get excited about every junk bit of email they get as a result of their virus. Most do it to impress their mates, according to Mr Cluley, and have similar motives to "vandals". Why? The answer is to claim territory, to make a mark in space - or cyberspace - that will be seen by many.

Motivated by financial gain, they are more and more likely to be working with spammers and hackers
C. form of expression
Others have even claimed that viruses are an art and a form of expression. Others are driven by ideological motives, for political reasons or to highlight questions about freedom of information or information security. Such conscious motives include "non-specific malice", revenge, cyber-espionage and commercial sabotage.
2. And how these people can be controlled
First, to control a thing, you have to look for the source of the thing.
The kind of person who creates such disruption differs in age, income, location, social/peer interaction, educational level, likes, dislikes and communication style
- most cases how the authorities crackdown the BAD GUYS is by tracing their source, related status, issues and activities.
