Mac G5 - too slow ? why?

I have Mac G5 Tiger X OS and with dual processor , 512 MB memory each...
But while am running Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator in same time
it's running too slow... why???

Please help me... maybe bcuz i did something wrong in settings of my Comp.?
