Well, I've responded to 10 jobs now in the UK, Denmark, Belgium, Ireland, and Switzerland.

Half have blown me off... four said that sponsorship is an issue... the Swiss job replied to me with a friendly supplemental questionare with many questions specific to my CV... unfortunately one of those questions was "How would you rate your German and French skills?" (D'oh!)

I guess this is the consequence of making a point to have no IT friends.
