Java uninstallation help
Greeting's
Okay I had problems with java and it wouldn't uninstall the normal way. So i deleted all the files in %root% drive and in my own username folder and from other users folders. I ran registry cleaning tools and cleaned out all problems it found. I then searched the registry for any entry with java in it and deleted them too. But still i cannot install java because it still shows up in Add/Remove and in control panel. Although when I try to start it from control panel it gives and error of reg key missing. I tried deleting the uninstall key using hijackthis and Spy.bot but they don't show up the keys.
I had to take all these steps out of pure desperation because java didnt work at all. If anyone has any idea what I can do please tell me. I searched through java.com but nothing helpful there.
