Let me see....

You installed LAN Chat software on a computer that doesn't belong to you, that has some restrictions in place to prevent you easily installing software that the administrator doesn't want you installing and you circumvented those restrictions in order to do so. Not only have you done this to your computer but you have either done it to other computers too or you have encouraged others to act similarly.

Nice... On my network you just carried out malicious activity and your a$$ would be bouncing down the street as I type this.

Silly question... This is a LAN... A LAN is a _Local_ Area Network. Are you so frigging lazy as not to be able to walk down the corridor to chat with someone face to face?

Sillier question... You have this nice little network with a nice little administrator to run it for you... But you don't have a frigging phone?????

Last dumb question... Did you write this LAN Chat software? I thought not... This means you can't trust it... and this is _exactly_ why your admin has put restrictions in place to try to stop you installing crap the s/he doesn't trust... But that never occurred to you did it... That's _why_ your company employs the administrator... Because s/he knows _way_ more about this stuff than you!!!!
