I think it is a moot point, as I mentioned before innovation is the key to success, as with any product/service it will improve with competition. A simple example of this in recent memory is Ford Motors a long time powerhouse of automobile manufacturing is literally being forced to redesign their auto's to survive the current market. They may have invented it, but they are falling behind as of late. So be it.

Sink or swim, competition ultimately benefites the consumer.


I think it's been many years since you could consider Ford a real powerhouse in to automotive industry... They were Kings through the 60s... the original mustangs are "boss" cars but what did they do in the 70s.. they had minor success but not much.. in the 80s they died... the 90s was also a loss for them... even now... the new designs aren't that great.. people keep talking about the new mustangs but compared to the imports and even some of the Dodge cars.. they are still garbage..
