EWIDO version 4.0 has now been released. If you try to run the old version with an internet connection active you will be virtually forced to get the upgrade.

Download it then go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the old version. Then reboot and run the installation package for version 4.

This one has a 30-day trial of the full application then reverts to a manual on demand status just like v. 3.5 did. This is still free.

If you have a paid for version you will need your old authorisation code, and will be issued with a new one.

On the corporate news side, they have now merged with Grisoft (AVG) who have a long history of providing freeware versions to private users, so hopefully this will continue
