I'm going to have some access to a lab with 20+ computers over the weekend, and I want to mess around with a cluster setup. I don't own the PC's but I have permission to use a live CD setup on them overnight.

I'd like to shuttle in a 3 gb mysql database to work on with the resources. Have any of you done anything similar and do any of you have any recommendations? Distributed computing is foreign to me...
