vista and Outlook web access
hi guys, just a pre-emtive post regarding OWA and vista.
in IE7 on vista microsoft have removed a DHTML editing control - see here http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/06/27/648850.aspx
which means that users are unable to create or reply to mails when using OWA (users just get a box with a red square in it)
microsoft have a update for your exchange box here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911829
i have not yet tested this patch so i have no idea if it works, install this at your own risk
the other workaround is to have OWA users use basic mode instead of premium mode, this will allow them create and reply to mails
hope this helps someone out.
