HP comes with this inadequate diagnostic software which says your laptop is in poor health because you haven't looked at the manual or something trivial like that.
Well, I already had the entire MoBo replaced for a brand new one and the problem didn't go away at all. And wouldn't connecting an external monitor still produce the same result if it's a video chipset issue since it's going to be processed by the video chipset.
Also, I don't have an extra external monitor in my dorm. I'd have to wait until May when I go back home to test it.
