Bluetooth & Ubuntu
Oh the joy. So my wife's laptop has ubuntu on it, and it's also the only bluetooth compatible computer we have. We are now attempting to utilize this to transfer our contacts and such from one phone to another. I've heard of a program called bitpim or such that probably only works on Windows, but the real problem I'm having is that I'm getting an error when I attempt to browse the files on my phone via the bluetooth software. I can get the devices to sync, and I can view my phone and click "connect", but then it produces the following.
Error: "Could not display "obex://[MAC Address]/". Search service failed. Please select another viewer and try again.
Any suggestions? I'm not even sure where to start.
