A Point of Fact and My Opinion

And how much does this have to do with security??? You are just adding garbage to the site with your words here that are full of dead air! If this is to be a security site and you want to hear less chatter about other things then stop posting this crap! Start replying to security issues or posting some SECURITY issues of your own!

Excuse me! this is the "GENERAL CHITCHAT FORUM" Members can talk about what ever they want to in here. If you want to post
something on security or anything else. . . choose one of the other forums.
This is an excellent example of taking a quote out of context.

Here is the statement in context:

From this, it is obvious he was speaking specifically about the security forums, and not the general chit-chat forum. There is no conflict in his statements. He has voiced no complaint about chit-chat in the chit-chat forum.

I could not care less about what subjects are posted in any of the forums. I care greatly about my own actions, little about the actions of others. One is most likely to receive a relevant answer to a Unix Security question in the *nix Security forum. I am intelligent enough to understand this concept, and so I seek answers and ask questions in the appropriate places. What more does one need?

But I must repsond to this alligation that I wen thunting for a crack for Opera. I did however accept the offer for one though.

Most browsers suck in one way or another. I really don't like IE but I would have to admit that is works quite well. Mozilla has always had issues, Netscape has always been a problem child and I really don't like the interface as others have mentioned (ditto to mozilla). Opera is alright but I don't like that a pay version is required to get rid of that stupid banner (may have changed by now). Galeon is the best for *nix users, but there again it is dependent on Mozilla which is lame.

Someday, maybe when we are old men, there will be a browser that doesn't suck.

As for Netscape 6.2 I will have to hear a lot of good things about it before I waste any bandwith on it.

    Opera

If you enjoy using Opera but don't like the fact that you have to pay I could give you a serial number if you like?

Actually I find AO a very useful source of security information, as well as a place where I can ask general computer stuff if I need a quick answer!!

Thanks to everyone who's helped me out in the past month that I've been making posts! Without AntiOnline I would know about half what I do now about security.

    Three Monks

A Kong-An very apropos to this post:

Three monks, who had all taken a vow of silence, were walking along a path. One monk, out of the blue, say's, "I have held my vow for two years as of this day!" The second monk, hearing him, say's, "You fool, now you have broken your vow!" The third monk say's, "Ha! I am the only one who did not speak!"

    Neo.... Neo...

    Wake up Neo...

most neophytes here are just dreaming that they would get tips and tricks on how some of us pull the shits..

and i wouldnt mind that.. but please please please.. dont ask questions that you can easily answered by looking up at a "search engine"..

    YES a S-E-A-R-C-H E-N-G-I-N-E....

    use www.google.com ok??

u wanna know how to hack hotmail? search for "how to hack hotmail"

u dunno how to install shits? seach for "Installing >insert **** here<"

the reason why some or most people here flame up stupid questions because some questions deserved it..

if you cant find it in the serch engines.. or you dont get desirable answers in the search engine. then come ask us..

if you're stuck somewhere and cant find anywhere else for an answer? ask us..

but dont use us as your bloody manuals. coz you can find them in the search engines.. if not.. then say so.. we will answer.

This thread is going nowhere fast and against my better judgement I'm going to reply, again.

sOnic, if I have offended you by asking how to install xfree86 under zipslack than I apologize. But is this the same sOnic that started a whole new thread about "how do I check my antipoints?"...http://www.antionline.com/showthread...hreadid=132084

    And here's another-http://www.antionline.com/showthread.php?threadid=132096

I hope you see the hypocrisy..

and the reason for this post:

    http://www.antionline.com/showthread...hreadid=132096

was because some people wanted to give me positive antipoints but it turned out grey (which should be green)

now, if you can find a link in this site that says "why green turned grey?" i'd praise you and eat my words.
