how many ppl die every year aftr an accident from pissed drivers?

Death pernalty should be invoked for drivers using alcohol, grass or medicines..

There's NO excuse for influenced driving !!!!

EVERYTHING u use (too much) will harm you. even food or air.
But smoking some (SOME!!) weed will never hurt you, (or influence your grades at school)
like drinking one beer won't hurt. just don't use too much..

Let´s get something straight for once and for all. Weed is not LEGAL in Holland it is TOLERATED.
You may see many posters/stickers that say legalize now and compare with Holland but it´s not 100% true.
Our socialiste government tolerates the sale and use of weed for people aged 18+
You may carry a certain ammount but you may not smoke in public places. At house parties it is alos allowed to use XTC. Heck you can even get yer pill
tested by a chemist because they have a lab at the pary as a service. You may have 2 on you, but if you have a bag full the bouncer will have the cops arrest you for dealing.
But then again, makeing XTC and selling XTC is illegal here but tolerated if used.
They just won´t ask how you got it.

Hmm... interesting thread. I personally think that they should make marijuana legal. Alot of people smoke it (including myself) you'd be suprised. Alcohol is far worse to the body than marijuana. If you drink too much you can get alcohol poisoning. If you smoke too much you'll just get really stoned. Another thing is people tend to get violent when intoxicated which is never a good thing. Most people don't get violent when their high, they just chill. Well thanks for the warning but I'm still going to smoke my weed. Well that's just my two cents on the issue.

I don't smoke, period... I can't, it would hurt my asthma (somthing I would be alot of us AO users have). But even if I could I wouldn't, its just not my thing.

But if you want to I say go ahead...you should. Pot is less dangerous than Bleech or Drano, yet you can buy both of those. If you want to drink Bleeck or Drano or Smoke Pot I say go ahead...one less moron to take up space...just don't expect me to foot the bill when your to toked up to get a job...

People would argue the health thing, but your right on the monetary issues. I don't know how much pot goes for these days, but it's obviously money that's practically wasted. There ae other ways to have fun, then getting high.

Yeah Marijuna has had a bad rap ever since people started smoking it. I personally don't smoke anymore but as a non-smoker I wouldn't have a problem in making it legal at all. Most of the time people that get busted a very good citizens and have never done anything bad to others.

Also, as a nonsmoker, I wouldn't care if it was legalized. But to say that most people busted are good citizens is an exaggeration. I know nice, cool smokers, and I know jackasses. Just as in every other place in life there is a balance between the good citizens and the idiots.

In the other post about Marijuana, Dr Toker said something about marijuana having been put on earth by God, just everything else was, so why not use it? Well, what about tobacco or poisonous plants and mushrooms? Just because something is there doesnt mean it's good.

But in summary, I don't think marijuana is good for individuals, but I think making it illegal is worse. People's taxes are paying for the prison cells of RA and others who didn't hurt anyone, not even a little bit. Prohibition in the twenties started organized crime and gangs, restrictions on marijuana just causes more theft, crime, and shady behavior.

Living in Holland u all might expect me to hangout in coffeeshops (where u can buy weed in the cities)
but I have never smoked a cigarette nor weed nor any drugs.
My astma also plays a part in that.

What do you think about smoking being banned in public places? At my school you get in trouble for smoking in your car in the parking lot. People gripe about smoke in restaurants and then go on to suck down their fatty, grease-filled hamburger. I have seen ambulance shoot out more pollution than 1000 cigarettes. In US, the fat police are coming. I have heard that one joint is equal to about 5 cigarettes.
