this thread is really upsetting. it just goes to show the type of tensions and anger that is between different cultures and religions. everyone wants to think that they are right, and that their religion is the right one, or god only belongs to them and their people. it is sad really. so much violence, death and pain in this world could be abolished if everyone just tried to respect each other and their believes instead of trying to convert them. no one should ever push down their believes on other people. believe what you want. keep it to yourself. respect everyone elses believes as well.

It seems as though maybe you should read into Islam yourself.... I asked for Quotes from the Koran, and you dont want to provide them? Or is it you dont really know them?I have read into Islam and I probley know more than you think. I do know that alot of the times, Allah is referred to as "The Most Mercifull Allah". Tell me then Where is the The Mercy in India? Where is Allah's mercy in New York City? Where my freind, is Allahs mercy in all this VIOLENCE....in all this JIHAD?

Its the same with every religion. In the beggining it is pure. But though thousands of years man's sinfull nature has distorted it.Did you know Haraam, that our "holy books" are ALOT alike up until Father Abraham? Is it some coincedent that our "holy lands" are in the same place? I think that somewhere along the line, Ishmeal got pissed at his brothers and said...
that he didnt need his brothers and began to hate them. Hence the rival between Palestine And the People of Isreal began.

But for real....Haraam I didnt mean to insult your religion thats just bad manners and makes me look like an idiot. It's just your bad additude has really been pissing me off. Not to mention this whole war on terrorism, and all the bad blood. It will no-longer be my fault.

This whole bullshit war seems to be the beginning of the end of peace. There are extremists in every religion. To many muslims...."jihad"....is education...and furthering Islam. It doesn't always mean to kill without mercy. I have heard of many muslims declairing jihad thru educating their children in true Islam......not the extremist ignorance of the Taliban. Also, the majority of muslims I know here in the USA hate Sadam Hussain as well as Bin Laden and his Taliban. Although you wouldn't know it from my posts...I am a peaceful person. Maybe you have a point....and maybe I should try and lighten up a little. Sinse the attacks, I have been very touchy about people insulting me because of my religion. You have no idea. I have had to disown many of my friends and most of my family because I married outside my race and converted to Islam. When it comes down to it though, I believe there is only one god.....no matter what you may call him or what attributes you may assign to him, there is only one true source of divinity. I also will appologize to you....this has gotten out of hand.
