Attn: Gamers and Linux fans
Check this out...
PS2+Linux
The SDK was just released in the US not too long ago...for 200 bucks one can get the 40GB HDD, a 100-Base-T Ethernet card, a USB keyboard and mouse, a monitor adapter w/audio, and DVDs with the PS2 Linux Version and the Linux OS 2.2.1 Kernel w/ tools and compilers...
The new Sony gaming console (presumably named PS3) will be made with the so-called CELL processors, with an, as of yet unnamed , open-source OS optimization...

I saw this a while ago. My question is wouldn’t it just be easier to program on the pc and then test on a ps2?
Its not software piracy. I’m just making multiple off site backups.

Perhaps now I have a good reason to buy a PS2.

I heard a rumor a while back that Microsoft and Sony have already made an agreement to work together on PS4 or PS5.....Don't remember where I saw it, and I really hope that it was all BS anyway.

why the hell would anyone want a PS2 is beyond me, they are crap, if you really want one just get a good system and get an emulator for it as the PC can run faster and smoother than any PS2 i have seen!
