Wow, and I read a fiction book not to long ago (last couple of years) that was a lot like this. Some guy had gotten a hold of small pox and was putting it on perfume samples. Sounds like someone else read the book recently, and maybe didn't realize it was fiction.

I think you should call the Texas guy and ask him about it. When he denies knowledge, expalin to him that you are not a terroist looking for new ideas, you just wanted to get more information.
