    Nice article on secure computing ...

    Wired just published a nice article on secure computing:

    Wired: Signs of 'Trustworthy Computing'

    NEC Computing International has announced a trial program in which Packard Bell PCs will be equipped with keyboards that include secure smart-card readers.
    Ok .. Packard Bell is not known for good computers, but it's a start towards more security in the computing field ...

    Although it could also be a risk if the lazy user leaves his smart-card around after using it .... but that's a whole other discussion.

    It sounds like progress, but I think the best idea is "if you don't want someone to see it, don't put it on your computer."

    Yes, a step in the right direction... but educating users will always be the biggest hurdle
