C++ is nice, JAVA is fun, Perl is great, *sigh*... just get really good with a bunch of languages
God bless, and good luck... oh yeah, stay away from anything "visual"

I know you\'re out there. I can feel you now. I know that you\'re afraid. You\'re afraid of us. You\'re afraid of change. I don\'t know the future. I didn\'t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it\'s going to begin. I\'m going to hang up this phone, and then I\'m going to show these people what you don\'t want them to see. I\'m going to show them a world without you, a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

Well the web stuff really depends on what your tring to acheieve. PHP is great for sites that will carry lots of content and will be used by many different types of user OS's. (Notice this site as an example). For graphics intensive sites I would suggest using Flash 5 (with a 3d StudioMax plugin for extra fun). HTML is a must. If you want interactive websites learn Java.
As for languages I would go with what PhirePhreak suggests. Good Luck...

Oh yes, HTML should be common knowledge to all. If you don't know HTML as well as your pretty little Windows Solitaire game, then you have no future online.
God bless, again, good luck

Well if you interested in computer security and web design then leaning java script and xml is a good start.
Its not software piracy. I’m just making multiple off site backups.

You should have posted this thread in the newbie question forum. Being that your new I will let you slide this time.
If you want to be on the cutting edge of web design and development learn php, flash, and perl... For programming I would tell you to start with QBasic then work your up to C++. After you master C++ move up to java. After you learn java move into VB. Oh yeah if you like me and cant learn from internet tutorials, and dont have any money or time to spend on taking a class. Buy some dummie books they kick ass!!!
