    thanx 4 the link but my telnet prog looks nuttin' like that 1 mine looks like a DOS command prompt! (what does DOS stand 4?) direct oprating system ?

    But we'll stick to the first one..
    It doesn't matter how ur telnet looks, it works the same evr where..
    TELNET just gives u direct (un coded / compressed) access to a terminal.

    that's the way it all started. but nowadays telnet is considered old fashioned.. only to be used in lans (and even then sparsely) and for test communication to http mail or some other port.

    So the thread topic is a bit weird.

    TELNET IS NOT THE DISK OPERATING SYSTEM OF THE WEB ! !

    y denial of service and i stll need a tutioral 4 telnet
    when i said "telnet the dos of the internet" i meant the foundation of the web like dos evolved into windows

    warez sites are for lamers, so they are filled with crapp like pr0n and 4DDS

    Telnet is not the foundation of the internet, tcp/ip is..
    telnet is layered on tcp/ip just like http and ftp

    so even saying http the dos of the web is better then telnet the dos of the web..
