    link size limit?!

    well, i was posting a few links using the http:// button, and i noticed that for some addresses it would cut off the final part of the link.

    I agree with a limit for the description of the link, but for the link itself, there are a few pretty big adresses out there....

    Then again maybe the problem is with my browser, i'm using opera 6.01, has anyone noticed this before?!

    It will shorten a link when it displays it, but the actual href tag remains in tact.

    since this isn't a bug, i'm closing the thread.
