Help! Please!
Today I was playing around with my computer and I installed Norton Antivirus 2002 and did a full scan. After about twenty minutes of scanning I checked the final report and found out that more than 2100 of my files were infested with something called VBS.LOVELETTER, so I tried having the Antivirus repair the files but it couldn't. So I isolated them using the Antivirus and did a little research on the internet and found out that this so pretty serious ****. I have a lot of programs on my computer that I don't want to lose but I want to get rid of this damn virus. Someone help me!
Formating would be my last resort.

2100 files infested... One suggestion: get rid of your OS....Format, and reinstall again...

Try looking for software on google that removes that spacific virus/trojan.... that might be better then formatting
but formatting is great, it sucks at the moment but feels sooooo much better afterwards, you feel all clean lol

Have you tried the "fixes" at symantec's site? http://[email protected] or http://securityresponse.symantec.com...bs.plan.a.html, I'm not sure if their ideas will help but worth a try....no?
