    if your using a linux or win2k box you already have an ftp server and every computer has an ftp client so why not ftp.

    I agree with FTP as well. If this is a regular occurence and you don't want to set up a server just purchase a USB thumb drive. The prices have really dropped and it's a viable alternative to floppies and always burning a CD for smaller files.

    heres a idea also...

    It sounds like u trying to transfer work files to ur home computer or at least 2 computers in 2 diff areas...

    why not just get a CD burner and do it that way? its cheap and it has many uses and that way u can also burn urself some music to listen to on ur way
