    I think the thread should just be killed or deleted, personally.

    • There are a lot of good examples in other threads, I'm sure
    • It's overly Intel/Mac centric/ignorant
    • Probably more appropriate to say "PC, Mac, Sun, SGI, HP, etc, other"
    • It's not really security related
    • I'm sure there's more if I think for more than two minutes

    Where are all the other Linux variants (that should really be grouped together anyway), and all the Unix flavours such as BSD?

    I agree with draziw, this post should be closed/deleted, it's not going anywhere, has nothing to do with security and fails to make a proper point.

    Why don't you just look at peoples profiles? Most people have their OS of choice listed their. If they don't, then they don't want you to know, so.....
