Common you guys. Let the guy have a link. Back Orifice can hardly be called a threat anymore. If someone installs, even an old virus scanner, it will pick it up. (the obvious reason for the virus alert when you scanned for viruses) They will get in trouble and learn a lesson from it all (well hopefully). It can be found, by clicking on security downloads on antionlines main page. It it is not there, go to blackcode.com it is in there archives.

If you want to demonstrate remote control software (which is what it is) go to web attack ( www.webattack.com ) and download specrem it's freeware and has the same kind of features but isn't a trojan (it'll do what you need it too do) Hope This Helps

Well, thanks for the flaming ??... Geez. Well, not everyone are as educated with computers and whatever as you guys, we are just trying to learn here dammit.

And right, we actually have a questionnaire ready which we where supposed to use to interview an hacker. I will post the questionnaire when I get back to school tomorrow, and I hope you guys will reply. There is about 15 questions concerning hacking - and not programs as such but just as much what hacking is about, why you hack, the tension behind hacking, public views and such... AND I'M NOT A ****ING HACKER. I have no interest in hacking, I'm just trying to get this project done flawlessly cuz our stupid teachers sez we gotta do it !...

However... Hacking is an appealing line of work...

Hm... Look, Seeker. I don't want to hack, crack, phreak or whatever. And I have already read 100's of the threads in here, with great interest. I have printed out 40+ pages with extremely interesting information. But what you obviously haven't had in school, is marketing.

A questionnaire is a bunch of questions asked to a larger amount of group. You people aren't the only ones who will be asked the questions, I will post tomorrow. I'm merely trying to give a **** here, and to get my assignment done. Our assignment involves making a questionnaire and getting it answered, properly. The fact that I have now have access to hacking "geniouses" world wide, through this site - people who are seemingly helpful and who also seem to give a ****, is just a very pleasant thought.

I read someones thread on flaming by the way - very interesting reading. I guess should have searched Google properly initially - but here comes my explanation for this.

One of my group members, Anders, actually had visited the site of the dead cow cult or whatever, but he had apparently clicked a dead link, and we had moved on, believing that the site wasn't online anymore - due to legal issues probably. Afterwards we weren't able to find this Back Orifice, probably because we aren't "1337" with the usage of internet. Then we encountered this site, and decided to ask you people how to find it, as it seemed like an easy solution.

We are in no way trying to make you people make our homework, but we have a tight deadline, and 25 pages to write + analyse the whole issue + make a giant powerpoint presentation + make a simulated hack attack + present the whole thing, whichs means we have to prepare the presentation and rehearse it. We have little more than a week left, and so on and so on and so on...
