What about Mandrake?...or better yet...what about Slackware?

I would think that a reunification of Linux programmers and software would yield one hell of an OS. A software that was originally started as a spare time internet project should return to its roots, I think. It would be interesting to see the history of Linux with a full reunification this year on the timeline...
