    no banner at tripod

    I was putting up a site at tripod and I put up one site that all the html was:

    <html>

    put something here

    </html>

    anyway there was no banner at the top of the page, I also ftp'd it there if that made a diffenrce. j/w if anyone know's why this took out that banner? I know there is diffenrt ways to take out banners and all but i wasn't really searching for it.

    ps. I know there is other free hosting w/ out banners, I use thouse too

    Maybe the file has to be of a certain length, or maybe you gave it a weird extension like *.blah or something.

    na I put a java script in there to for a counter and that was really long and i named it .html
