i don't know.. this balancing thing seems to me to detract from the community type spirit, imho.
as for signing all points.. i go with that.. not that JP has to change the system requiring it..
but that i'll just do it myself.

I already sign all my points. If anybody has a problem with it, we can discuss it.
I don't think JP needs to change it.

I don't like giving negs either, but today it just so happened that somebody gave me a negative, for no apparent reason other than helping someone. And now, I get the greeting message that the Antionline community as a collective, blah blah...which isn't true.
And since this new balancing system is being implemented, I think this might happen quite a bit more, maybe even if the person only has a differing opinion. I don't think there should be a necessity to assign negative antipoints.

/me doesn't like this balance thing either. How about it only affect those who assign too many negs and not those of us who assign too many positive AP's.

Same thing just happened to me Valor, I just posted a "Kool JP" in regards to JP's additions for 6-9-02 and I got twenty negative Antipoints. I got no explanation why got these Antipoints.
This is another fine example why we should have people sign their Antipoints and be required to give an explanation for the Antipoints.
