Massive Operation
***Operation: Least Resistance
***Founder(s): Congnitive Ghost, Solaris9
***Abstract:
Welcome users of AntiOnline. Take the following into consideration...
Websites tight on security have hashes for their encryption methods of the passwords. (If I have the meaning of hash correct) So the password strings have to be either guessed, brute-forced, or known. Guessed is terrible unlikely, known is obviously not, so there is only brute forcing. What if brute-forcing instead on one computer but 1000 could be coordinated? This is our plan, we will setup a whole process that will have certain computers do a certain span of attempts. All attempts will be recorded and posted on Oracle or MySQL databases as open information. This process will continue until the password is cracked.
Any comments, concerns, complaints and other issues at this possible attempt to crack our own servers can be directed toward [email protected]
If you'd like to volunteer for the operation please email the same address with the subject of 'Least Resistance In'.
Thank You,
Solaris9

Its his first post, and either he is a total n00b or he decided to make another account because he knew he was going to get flamed for it.

I might have come off a little harsh...
Sorry for "flaming" to fast...
Here's a better approach.
Is this site yours?
Or someone you know and have complete priviledge to attempt this?
In other words, is it legal?
Also, why are you attempting this?
To further your understanding of encryption, security and so?
Or is this just a cracking hunt?

None of the above
It's more so a challenge to get a number of people working in sync and realtime with a computer application that integrates many functions
Database
Encryption
Connectivity
It will also prove useful to some...
I will delete this post if you want me to

Why then do you choose to crack passwords the only reason for this activity is to access computer resources you are not authorized to use? Why not choose a better model say crack one sequence of DNA, RNA something useful.

It was not cracking anothers
The process involves my server and my passwords and will have no outside servers at all
