As I sit here building 2 new win2k laptops for some ungrateful users, I find it sad that I am spending more time patching products than installing them.
Just needed to vent there. Feel better now.

yea I follow u... I reinstalled win2k on a box a little while ago... It took about 2 hours and 7 reboots to get all the patches/upgrades downloaded and installed... The box has 5 security patches listed in "Add/remove programs" utility... it's absolutely sick... M$ sux but we all know that of course

only 5 patches are listed under addremove? lucky, my mothers XPPro box has better than 30 listed...... i just go thru it and use tweakUI to hide them from view, usefull toy tweak is, it is it is..... well if your forced to use windows
