Yes, notice how most of the posts are by males :-) 9-2. and also notice how eveyone talks about boys posing as girls on AO, but no one ever brings up the possibility of girls posing as boys! just think, what if half the guys on AO were girls..

Oh geez... am I missing something, or isn't this a security site?!? I mean, gender really doesn't matter one way or the other... we're here to talk about what's happening in this world: threats, problems, compromises and fixes. And do it as a community. I'm not here to date anyone or make someone feel threatened by pointing/joking/questioning someone about their gender, sexual preference, or anything of the like... in the overall scale of things, it really doesn't matter IMO - post and contribute (and yeah, there's room for some BS); but that's all that matters here... simply your contribution(s).

And, as someone says, here you're basically forced to take someone at their word that they're a guy/girl/whatever. It tend to be not-terribly-accurate means to measure things on anonymous-type forums, in my experience...

Who gives a flying rat's behind what anyones sex/species/sexual preference is here?
What I do care about is quality vs quanity and intelligence factor vs inanity. Basic premise people, security/computer forum designed to attract people who want to sharpen their skills. The first thread about this was "kinda" cute, but it's degenerated quickly for me and a few others from the looks of the responses on this thread.

exactly. we are a community here at AO. I really don't think anyone gives a rats ass whether you are a boy, girl, or maroon flying squirrel. any references otherwise are purely joking. and if not, they should be taken that way, becuase who, honestly, would sit down at their computer and try to figure out whether people posting on a site were girls or guys!! for that matter, who would take the time to POSE as one? and who would care? if you do, (care that is, about gender) it just proves that maybe you are more sexist then you think you are. and maybe you aren't coming here to help or get help. or whatever it is you come here for. i don't know about everyone else, but i [gloworange]like[/gloworange] the antionline community just the way it is. and i honestly don't care whether anyone is a girl or a boy.
