    Kazaa's Ad!?

    how can i turn off those voice ads in kazaa... it sux!

    Uninstall the BDE (Brilliant Digital) software...it should show up in add/remove programs in your control panel

    theres a few things you can do. First off it wouldnt hurt to disable active X scripting, java, and javascript in your browser, thats a start. If that dosent work, try finding some ad blocking software, or if you have Outpost Firewall, add the address of the add or some of the keywords from it to the ad blocking list.

    Have you tried Kazaa Lite? http://www.kazaalite.com/

    I use it and I haven't heard any voice ad's at all. Mind you, it's asked me several times to upgrade to a new version, but I've refused, so I don't know if there's a new version of Kazaa Lite and if it has or hasn't got voice ads.

    However, if you haven't tried it - I'd recommend it. Much better then the full (ad-filled) version.

    There is a new version of kazazlite. You should go and upgrade to it and never deal with those super annoying upgrade messages.
