This is a stretch here but It's not "okay" to do it. Nor is it right. But who are you to pass judgement of john doe it he wants to kill his cat a cruel way. What about fish, do they not get the same right as cat (don't post that law again, I read the whole thing already). They get hooked in the mouth dragged ashore and suffocated and then filled with a jagged knife in some guys house. Gee, if we weren't eating the fish that sounds like torture to me.
