I encounter a link on " How Firewalls Work " and I thougt it might be usefull for newbies. This article does not cover the advanced rules but the basics.

I searched the forums and didn't find anything about how firewalls work and what they exactly do, Then decided to post this. but if something like this was posted before, tell me I'll delete it.
