What about Morpheus? Is that spyware too? By the way, I'm using Kazaa so I'm definitely going to switch to one of the programs mentioned here or maybe Morpheus if it isn't adware. Thanks for the info, everyone.

I agree that kazaa lite is an excellent choice, but their content has left much to be desired in the last few months..... Take a look at w*w.infoanarchy.org for some more alternatives. They still have Morpheus up on the list, even though the new interface sux pretty badly since it went to the Gnutella netword from Fastrak network, but oh well..... IRC is also a great one, but finding the right channels that you don't get k-lined off of is a tough one if you aren't fairly saavy.
That might help some.

Want to get rid of the spyware and adware and still be able to use the program? Go to http://beam.to/spybotsd and click the english link to the left...Then download SpybotSearch&Destroy . It hunts down spyware and adware (finds stuff that ad-aware misses), removes it, and inserts a 'dummy' program (not a trojan, I scanned it) to keep software that is dependent on adware up and running. A very usefull utility.

It isn't paranoia when you KNOW they're out to get you...
