The key again is balance, balance, balance. But most kids don't want balance they want what they want and that is it....

Thats why its a parents re-spon-so-bility to make sure their child dosn't go off course, like spending ALL their time playing vidio games. don't get me wrong, vidio games are good for body and soul (reflexes, release of tension and the joy of winning and just plain fun) but only to a point. what good are lightning fast reflexes if the muscles are too slugish to respond IRT.
Everyone should have a computer, everyone should have internet access and be allowed the time to learn to use them well. without these things your not even in the running in todays world but they are not an end in itself except for people like us.
Bukhari:V3B48N826 “The Prophet said, ‘Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?’ The women said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.’”

Ahh so true.... my parents didn't really balance me, or maybe I just didn't know it, interesting.

My parents think I spend too much time on the computer... But at least I'm doing worth while things like programming. Other kids just play games. But I still go outside a lot... I think that if all a kid is going to do is play games and chat... He shouldn't spend as much time as if he/she were learning something.
