Linux in the "mainstream"
I was recently looking through my newspaper when I happened to come across a Fry's Electronics ad, It stated 1.1ghz computer, with all the usuals but the thing that caught my eye was that it came with Linux. I remembered this thread about: http://www.antionline.com/showthread...hreadid=232388 Mandrake being installed on Wal*Mart computers. I thought "I guess this is cool, Linux is coming into the 'mainstream'..." I think that this will be a pretty good thing for everyone, breaking free of Windows, learning more... Well that is just my two cents. You can find the computer here:
http://shop2.outpost.com/product/3308362/ It's using a distro I have never heard of. Hurray for Linux.
