    You want to program one? Or set one up a pre-existing firewall on your computer? Questions like that won't get you very good answers... be detailed in whatever you ask.

    Alright... first off, what programming language(s) do you know? How much programming experience have you had? Making a firewall isn't going to be an easy task. I mean, you could techincally write a program which just blocks certain ports but that won't give you any type of logging, etc. Also what's your purpose in programming a new firewall? Aren't there enough third-party firewalls out there?

    and to follow up on avdven's line of questioning...what on earth is the poll for? A name search? Naming your firewall after a Star Wars character means you get to take all of your profits and mail them to George Lucas.

    1 to 1024
