I am amazed at the number of questions that come through Antionline that seem to have a better chance for a good answer in a news group.
Even Microsoft has realized that news is a very effective system for providing help. I think they now cover all their programming languages not covered by MSDN through a semi-moderated news group.
Every Linux hardware issue is covered my ISP carries 17 news groups.

Is the use of news a Linux thing or do MS users go there too?
